Booking terms · Draft for legal review
Important: These terms are a working draft and require German legal review before paid bookings are accepted. The binding booking process and final prices must be clearly presented before a payment-obligation button is activated.
1. Exclusive Group Booking
BLOCK1923 offers exclusive use of the agreed accommodation for a single group, with a minimum stay of two nights. The booking contract is concluded only after the reservation has been accepted and confirmed by BLOCK1923 under the applicable booking process. A preliminary request is not automatically a confirmed booking.
2. Prices & Catering
The total price, selected dates, number of guests, optional full catering and any surcharges are shown in the individual booking summary. Self Catering is available; Full Catering is an optional service. Beverages are supplied by BLOCK1923; guests may not bring their own drinks.
3. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is from 14:00; check-out is by 11:30. Guests are welcomed personally. Each registered guest receives a personal electronic badge for the assigned room and authorized areas. All badges must be returned on departure. A charge of EUR 19.95 for a lost or culpably damaged badge may apply where legally permissible, with the right to prove lower or no loss.
4. Cancellation & Early Departure
Free cancellation is not offered as a contractual option. For cancellation more than 28 days before arrival, a proposed charge of 25% of the relevant agreed price applies; from 28 days before arrival and for no-shows, up to 100% may be claimed, in each case only insofar as valid under applicable law. Legally required deductions for saved expenses or replacement bookings and the guest's right to prove lower or no loss remain unaffected. Early departure does not automatically create a right to a refund.
5. Guests, Visitors & Conduct
All guests and visitors must be at least 18 years old. Additional visitors require advance approval. The House Rules & Code of Conduct form part of the stay arrangements to the extent validly incorporated into the booking contract.
6. Cleaning, Damage & Liability
Regular final cleaning is included. Documented extraordinary cleaning and legally recoverable damage may be charged separately. Normal wear and tear is excluded. The lead booker is liable only where liability follows from the agreement or applicable law; responsibility for damage caused by another person is not automatic. A joint arrival/departure inspection may document the property's condition.
7. Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory statutory rights. The applicable legal rules take precedence over any ineffective provision.
